Grüner Again!

I took my own advice and had a Grüner day. Inspired by a County roadside stand offering local asparagus and farm eggs. An hour later it was asparagus omelette on the deck with a few tumblers of Grüner. Heavenly.

Get Out the Grüner

A decade ago no one had heard of this Austrian grape but now it’s groovy to be drinking Grüner. It feels like a mix of Sauvignon Blanc and Dry Riesling – a little spicy and a little spritzy. Winzer Krems 08 is the best ever from this winery. Wonderful exuberance, refreshment and a happy feeling. [...]
