What restaurant is your home-away-from-home?
The places that don’t cost a fortune, that make you feel you matter. Where the food is good and company better. Tell us who wowed you. Share your picks and tell us the whys. What makes you keep going back for more?

Sushi on Bloor @ Brunswick…they’re always busy so the fish is always fresh
Southern Accent on Markham….hang at the bar and indulge in blackened chicken livers…
Dessert Trends/DT Bistro on Harbord….amazing place…should have lineups down the street….best almond croissants, desserts, gelato, bread, lunch and dinners…
Harbord House on Harbord….the Annex gastro pub…great burgers….
Harbord Room on Harbord….yummmmmmm
Tight regulations around marketing and promotion limit innovation in wine. But a clever idea has gotten through. A single-glass-size bottle of wine with its own glass mounted on top is the creation of Aussie producer Hardys. A bonus being the contents are Hardys ‘Nottage Hill’ wines, which are recommended in my 09 book.
