Check out my Tutored Tasting seminar at the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo THIS FRIDAY from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre.

While the French promote the sexy aura around Champagne, other regions have fashioned their own unique spin on sparkling wine. Such as Italian Prosecco, Spanish Cava and Canadian Sparkling Icewine — which could be the most hedonistic bubbly of all! Included are special selections from iconic Champagne house G.H. Mumm, Nicolas Feuillatte, and a few surprises. Attendees will receive a hot-off-the-press copy of Billy’s Best Wines for 2010 too.

Hart House Tasting Series starts this Thursday

Hart House 2009 Tasting Series brings together a cross-section of renowned specialists passionate about sharing their tasting knowledge with attendees. This series will run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm every Thursday night in the Music Room at Hart House beginning October 29th through to December 3rd, 2009.
