DARE TO CELEBRATE!
A Tasting of Champagne & Sparkling Wines

Two founders of the sparkling wine business were women – Madame Bollinger and Madame Clicquot. The female spirit understands nurturing and celebrating, and the role it plays in creating good will, social interaction and romance. All things human!

While the French promoted the sexy aura around Champagne other wine regions have also created their own spin on Sparkling. Italian Prosecco and Spanish Cava are produced for everyday celebration, as is Californian Brut. Italy has given us Moscato – a delicious low alcohol, slightly sweet sparking for daytime drinking. A uniquely Canadian (and divine) creation is sparkling wine enhanced with a splash of Icewine, while sparkling Icewine could be the ultimate hedonistic drink.

Bring your reason to celebrate and we’ll provide editions of all the wines mentioned. Eight in total. This is going to be very good recession therapy!

AND attendees each receive a free copy of my hot-off-the-press Billy’s Best Bottles Wines for 201o. (20th Year Anniversary Edition!)

Tickets: $70
(includes $15 entry into the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo…and the book! This is a great deal.)
