A Billy's Best Bottles Tasting in Your Home!
BILLY'S
WINE SCHOOL offers
a new way to learn about wine, and to see wine differently. Learn
how to select the right wine for any moment and mood.
Gather
ten or more of your friends and have Billy
Munnelly (and his partner Kato Wake) come to your home to conduct
their 'wine by mood crash course'. A guaranteed great
afternoon or evening of education and celebration!
Cook some food or have a pot luck dinner afterwards. Sounds like
fun? It is!
Our
tasting seminar is
ideal for anyone interested in getting more enjoyment out of
wine, and wanting to overcome 'wine fear' and intimidation. This
crash course turns wine learning on its head and delivers amazing
insights and results. Billy and Kato invite the class to see
wine
in much the same way as one sees music. "Wine and music play
similar roles in our lives let's use our understanding
and natural ability to match music with mood to springboard our
'wine playing' skills. Matching the spirit or character of a
wine
to an event is the great overlooked challenge in wine. The person
who knows which wine to play is the real wine expert." In just over
two hours you will taste 8 of todays most popular grape types,
identify their spirit or character and discover their best use.
You will develop wine smarts without the need to study. It's an
experience that will boost your confidence and open up a new world
of possibilities for pleasure. It is perfect for the beginner
and would be an eye-opener for the 'seasoned wine pro'. Great
for parties or birthdays too! AND!
All participants receive Billy Munnelly's
Annual Wine Handbook (Billy's Best Bottles Wine for 2008 retail value $21.95).
The cost is $40 per person $45 per on Saturdays tax
INCLUDED. The host (one per ten guests)
is free of charge. The fee includes a Sparkling
wine reception, cost of the wine, tasting sheets, Billy's wonderful
little book and
our educational expertise.
You need to supply TWO identical wine glasses per guest (you
can rent them or ask your friends to bring their own), a bag
or two
of ice, and a place for everyone to place their 2 glasses and
a 8.5 x 11" piece of paper. Groups sitting around coffee tables
work just fine. Minimum number is
10, plus the host. No maximums if you have the space.
A travelling
allowance of @45¢ km
will be added for tastings outside Toronto 416 area code. (For
really long distances, we'll negoiate of course.)
